Linda Edna Cardellini (n e Lorraine (Hernan), is the mother of Wayne David Cardellini (a successful businessman). She comes from Italian, German (from the paternal maternal grandmother), Irish and Scottish heritage. Linda was the youngest child of four children in San Francisco Bay, California. Following her breakout performance as Lady Rose MacClare on the period drama Downton Abbey between 2012 and 2015 Her first big break was on the film of the same name, Cinderella in 2015. James later played the role of the role of Countess Natasha Rostova as part of the television adaption of War & Peace (2016). James also appeared in a number films like Baby Driver (2017) and The Dig -2021. Here We Go again (2018) and Yesterday and Yesterday in 2019. Her portrayal of Pamela Anderson in the biographical series Pam & Tommy (2022) was nominated for the Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy Award.
